Editor's choice for short calls — Rhodes Old Town. The Street of the Knights, Palace of the Grand Master and surrounding lanes create a complete medieval city day with minimal transfer risk, since the Old Town usually sits close to the port.
Best landmark day — Lindos and the Acropolis. This is the defining view within reach of Rhodes Town, but only when your call is long enough for the road journey and the climb, ideally six or more usable hours.
Best full day — a combined Old Town and Lindos itinerary. Only sensible on a long call, since it asks more of the day than either destination alone; expect a shortened version of each rather than the full experience of both.
